The concept of backwardness appeared after World War II when many occupied countries gained their independence. However, the concept became wide spread and writings increased about it since the fifties of the last century. In that time thousands of articles and researches were done about the topic of backwardness in all directions and all areas according to the intellectual and environmental visions of each researcher in the frame of reaching scientific, social, psychological and economic explanations of the concept.
