Abdullah al-Qasemi’s description of Arabs as (a phonetic phenomenon) means also that they are a (formality) phenomenon. They frequently quarrel over expressions without paying attention to the content, goals or results. Few are the analytical writings which tried to overrun the two opinions and come up with a third opinion.
