Hezbollah al-Nujaba militia is an Iraqi Shiite armed movement and one of the biggest factions of the Popular Mobilization Forces. It was founded by Anwar al-Kaabi, the leader in al-Mahdi army which followed the Shia Cleric Muqtada al–Sadr and who dissented later together with Qais Khazali- leader of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq militias- and together they founded Asa’ib militias that formed al-Nujaba movement- Ammar Bin Yasser Brigade- in 2013.
