Protest Movement in Rural Morocco: Reasons and consequences
This report sheds light on the protest movement in the rural area north of Morocco which started last year. The research question of this report is represented in specifying the social and political [as well as historical] terms that govern the production of the protest scene in the Western countryside and the way this is reflected on the society relation with the “monarchy” and with the Arab and Morocco transitional scene. The report supposes that the protest movement in the countryside is a natural result of the elimination of the “revolutionary dream” in Morocco with 20 February movement that started in 2011 and which objective plans vanished after 2011 constitution was enforced.
