In the conscious of many Arabs, Zionism is equivalent to a mysterious evil in which the religious, the national and the military mix. It is manifested as an unchangeable fact that does not change with time. It is an awareness possibly enhanced by the national and Islamism discourse that took Zionism out of its historical framework to form an element that can be mitigated as enemy in such ideological visions. Although these visions helped mobilize millions in the enmity of Arabs of the Zionist identity, it couldn’t succeed in providing a serious vision to eliminate it let alone working to implement such a vision.
