It seems that Assad’s visit to Moscow caused kind of shock and confusion in more than one Arab, regional and international capital. This visit was not announced until Assad came back to Damascus. The visit, which is the first for Assad out of Syria since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution about 5 years ago, carries many messages and triggers many queries leaving a lot of impressions especially that it was due to an invitation from Putin himself to Assad.
