The Palestinian issue has become complicated and defied solutions. Israel has changed in the Arab mentality to a philosophical issue where two viewpoints are in conflict: Existentialism and Nihilism. One of them considers Israel as a fait accompli that can be changed only with (strategic) peace and the other considers it nihilism and it brings up its offspring not acknowledging Israel’s presence. A good example can be when a mother asks her three year old daughter about the capitals of the countries of the world and the daughter answers all correctly and when she asks her “what is the capital of Israel?” the girl answers with a taught innocence: “there is no Israel”.
