The Turkish military intervention in Syria, reasons, goals and challenges.

The last Turkish military intervention in the “Euphrates Shield” operation seems a compulsory step, late in time considering the speed of the development north of Syria, on the southern borders of Turkey which represent a real unprecedented threat to the Turkish national security. This intervention is seen as a proactive inevitable defense step to protect the unity and security in the long run despite the risks and the many challenges that accompany this operation.
