The Syrian Woman in Antakya

The Syrian Woman

War leads to forced migration causing potentially large displacements of local populations. In most cases, women and children are often the most vulnerable to violance and physical and sexual abuse. Women also witness changes in their social and economic status because of the changes in the local community.

This study sheds light on the situation of Syrian women who migrated , because of war, to the city of Antakya in Turkey.
